Project closing event successfully carried out

The OPTIMISE project is at the end of its term and in the context of the final event on 13.10.2022 the achieved results were presented in the restaurant FELIX in Leipzig.

The event was opened by the Saxon Minister of State for Regional Development Thomas Schmidt, who in his welcoming speech highlighted the importance of #networking economic, scientific and public actors in the implementation of innovative ideas and projects and emphasized the high relevance of the OPTIMISE project as part of the simul⁺ InnovationHub. In the following two-and-a-half-hour program, the prototypes of the open SmartLiving platform developed in the course of the project, exemplary implemented use cases, and business models based on them were presented. In addition, the topic of data protection in the context of Smart Living was examined in more detail by guest speaker Daniel Sonne from GET AG. At the subsequent get-together, the presented topics were further deepened in personal conversations against a special backdrop. Furthermore, it was possible to have a “live” look at the presented Smart Living platform and the corresponding SmartphoneApp.

Many thanks to our partners from Gecko Two GmbH and CG Elementum AG, who played a major role in the success of the project through their cooperation and also helped to prepare and carry out the closing event. Further thanks go to Minister of State Schmidt and his team from simul⁺ InnovationHub, who accompanied and supported the OPTIMISE project during its runtime, as well as to all guests of the event.
